Mission and Staff

Welcome to Triple Threat Theater Productions!

The Mission and Vision of Triple Threat

Celebrating God’s gift of art through excellent theatrical performance for the benefit of the community.

We believe in
  • Excellence in theater
    • We do theater excellently to celebrate God’s gifts in performance art (Phillipians 4:8, Exodus 35 and 36, Romans 12:3-8).
    • We are reflecting God’s image as storytellers by producing art that celebrates truth about him, the world, and our place in it.
  • Creating community
    • Theatrical arts have a unique ability to create community and bridge strong connections between different groups. Enjoying theater as a community should not be restricted by talent, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, gender, or age.
Mission Statement
  • Provide educational and performance opportunities to children and adults through private lessons, classes, workshops, and productions.
  • Promote racial reconciliation through theater education by offering opportunities to collaborate theatrically with the diverse urban and suburban people groups of South Jersey.

Andy Boettcher (Artistic Director) co-founded Triple Threat Theater Productions with Jessi Barakat and Brittany Boettcher in 2014.

Before founding Triple Threat, Andy has worked summer theater director for ESF Summer Camps, Assistant Director for The Arts Camp (now CAST), and Resident Director for Sovereign Grace Church's Summer Blast.  He has also directed many dramatic performances at Sovereign Grace Church.  His performance credits include Les Miserables (Valjean), West Side Story (Tony), Beauty and the Beast (Beast), Man of La Mancha (the Padre), Titanic the Musical (Barrett), Dogfight (Eddie Birdlace), Miracle Worker (James Keller), Brigadoon (Tommy), and Aida (Radames).  His award winning voice also placed him as resident cabaret performer at A1 Entertainment's Mount Gretna Summer Concert Series produced by Larry McKenna.

Andy's passion to spread the power of theater arts has taken him to the high schools of Camden City.  He directed and produced the first musical at Woodrow Wilson High School in over 45 years and is honored to be the founding Theater Program Director at Mastery High School of Camden. Directing credits in Camden include Woodrow Wilson's Black History Month Celebration, WWHS The Lion King Jr, MHSC's Annual Haunted House, Once On This Island Jr (2019), and The Wiz Jr (2020) and High School Musical Jr.

Since then, Jon has been involved both backstage and on-stage in a variety of different plays, musicals, and one-acts. Some of his favorite roles he has played include Lumiere in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Orlando in Shakespeare's As You Like It, and Link in Hairspray. Jon also has some experience in the director's seat, having directed Shakespeare's The Tempest and Twelfth Night with the Burlington County 4H Players, and will be directing Arthur Miller's The Crucible at his college, where he is currently stage managing The Sound of Music. Jon is very much looking forward to his time with Triple Threat this summer!
