Meet your teacher!
Dr. Kay Wright’s exceptional career as an educator and director includes directing and producing over 150 plays/musicals. Her teaching and directing expertise has spanned from high schools, colleges, churches, as well as within professional community theater spaces. She specializes in teaching acting and scene interpretation skills, and most notably, her own unique method for developing believable characters who speak believable dialogue. She also assists and equips students In preparation for auditions for conservatory and college Theater/Musical Theater programs.
Dr. Wright holds Doctorate at Drew University with her completion of an original play as her dissertation. Also noteworthy is her 1st place recognition of her original play in a National Christian Playwriting contest.
